Code of Ethics

Bruce Crowe, president of the Australian Psychological Society, says that when choosing a coach, affiliation to a national professional organisation, which has a code of ethics that members have pledged to abide by, is important.

Thinque’s™ Trainers, Peak Performance Consultants, and Coaches are members of the following professional bodies.

  • NSW Supreme Court
  • Associate Member of Law Society of NSW
  • Golden Key International Honours Society
  • International Time Line Therapy Association
  • American Board of Hypnosis
  • American Board of Neuro-linguistic Programming
  • Swedish Chamber of Commerce

In everything we do, we value our client’s privacy, confidentiality, and interests. We consider ourselves fiduciaries of our clients and therefore ascribe to the highest ethical standards.

We go beyond what is required in our aspiration to serve our Clients in accordance with Judge Benjamin Cardozo’s description of a fiduciary from Meinhard v Salmon, which depicts a trustee who ‘is held to something stricter than the morals of the market place. Not honesty alone, but the punctilio of an honor the most sensitive, is then the standard of behavior’.

Most businesses interact with Consumers. As part of our Strategy of Pre-Eminence we have chosen to interact with Clients. The difference is important. A Consumer is a person who purchases a commodity or service. A Client is a person who is under the protection of another. We do not deal with Consumers – we nurture, protect and honour our Clients. If you meet our criteria as a Client you will enjoy the benefits of this service philosophy.
